What is Cupping Therapy?

During the session, our therapist places cups onto your skin to create a vacuum. The cups creates suction. The open space of the cup sucked your skin up . The massage therapist leaves them on your skin for a 5 to 20 minutes.

How does it Work?

A special device is used to suck the air out of a special made cup.

Is Cupping Painful?

It is not painful for 99 percent of our clients but everyone can feel differently. The amount of pain level is similar to a deep tissue massage. Most of our clients enjoy the session and its benefits without issues.

Why Does Cupping Therapy Cause Bruising?

The suction created during the session pulls on your skin. Also, it expands the capillaries and blood vessels under the skin which will cause reddening. Capillaries can break during this process which causing the bruising. The rush of blood flow due to the suction also increases the bruising.

What Conditions Benefit from Cupping?
